My Dad told me about Eddy Merckx when I was little and took me to watch track racing at Paddington (London), and that got me hooked. Sadly the track is no longer there, but I'm still cycling all those years later. I'm lucky to now have the Surrey Hills on my doorstep so good roads are never far away.
