This must be the biggest race in the Women’s World Tour and if it is anything like the men’s race is should be great. Let’s hope there is some decent TV coverage. The start list is here. The route map must be classified, sorry. Imagine a course in Northern Italy: mountains, valleys, plains. Anna van der Breggen won it last year but she will have to contend with Lizzy Armitstead in this edition. The Mortirolo is here, time trials, sprints, with ten days of racing, the winner should have mad all around skills

I'm almost more excited about this than I am about the Tour (although the coverage for this is only an hour). The field is balmy! No Vos; Lizzie possibly resting up for Rio; That Wiggle Squad; Pooley in the most uncharacteristically poor form ever.
